This is a tool that helps record the time of a task an employee is doing and takes periodic screenshots. These can be monitored.
Screenshot Monitor is a tiny desktop app. This can be loaded on every PC used by employees. The employee is required to start and stop the application for every task undertaken by him/her. When switched on, the application takes periodic screen shots. All this data is available to managers/owner through a website provided by the developers at screenshotmonitor.com. This has a simple and easy to use interface. It is intuitive enough that most users should get familiar with it quite easily. Getting productive with it should not take much time. The manager of a team starts a company plan and invites employees /remote workers to join the team. When the personnel join in by clicking on the link, the data of starting/stopping tasks and the corresponding screenshots are sent to the website for monitoring by superiors.
The managers will be able to see the task on and off times as well as the shots of the screen. It is not a stealthy tool. Employees are aware of what exactly is being done. The data can be easily exported to Excel sheets. The reports that can be generated will provide a view of what’s happening in the team. You can select the data about a specific employee, check on data grouped by dates or a detailed time sheet. These can be downloaded to generate invoices or for further analysis. This is a good product. It has many useful features. If you were looking for a product like this, this is one you could try out.
